Provision of senior IT expert to provide technical input and opinion to the WorkPlan 2000 Assessment of the Statistics cluster of Programmes, which incorporates projects aimed at upgrading the Latvian statistical information system. The assignment included, inter alia : a) provision of advice upon the transfer of technical know-how ; b) review of the quality of the technology installed ; c) technical review of the institutional adjustments made, and d) advice upon how the information technology and data management system impacted upon the capacity of the beneficiary to meet its national / international obligations.
