This is a follow-up to the INOGATE Support Group project which was awarded to the consortium led by EIR and continues with supporting the achievement of the INOGATE Programme’s objective by facilitating cooperation, disseminating information and promoting investment. This follow-up project has three specific objectives. The first objective is the provision of communication and promotional activities that will help facilitate cooperation with producer, transit and consumer countries in view of the secure and safe transport of oil and gas via existing and potential new infrastructures. The second object involves support to the EU-Ukraine Joint Expert Working Group for the reform of gas transit in the Ukraine. In the follow-up project the Working Group will prepare the second phase of the study further elaborating the possible options for reforming the gas transit system in the Ukraine. The third objective involves promoting European investments in energy infrastructure projects in the oil and gas sectors by assisting the EC and participating countries in mobilising the interest of potential European investors.
